Upload products (XLSX/CSV)

To upload your products through the supplier portal website, you can use either Excel or CSV format.

Columns

Name Type Mandatory? Description
product number string mandatory Your product number. This should be unique per product.
brand string mandatory The brand of the product.
name string mandatory The name of the product.
bonus type integer mandatory 0 = No bonus, 1 = Bonus-determining, 2 = Bonus-bearing
tag code integer mandatory The tag code associated with the product.
ean code string optional The corresponding EAN code of the product
tags string optional This is only visble when you download the list. It contains a representation of the tag hierarchy. This field will be ignored on import. You don't have to remove this column.

Tags

Each product must be tagged. After you upload the product list through the supplier portal, a check is made to see if the product already exists and is tagged. If a product does not yet have a tag, you can select it from a list via the portal and assign it to the product that way. This only needs to be done once per product. If you put the tag codes in the upload list they will be automatically copied.

Bonus Type

The sales of the bonus determining products is added up to see which tier the bonus falls into. So all these products count toward determining the amount of the tier (a percentage).

The actual bonus is paid on the basis of the established graduated scale on the sales of the bonus-bearing products.

Example

The following products are bonus determining products:

  • Product A with sales of €100
  • Product B with sales of €500
  • Product C with sales of €800
  • Product D with sales of €1000 Total sales for these bonus-determining products are €2400.

The following notional scale is present:

  • more than €500 sales, 2.00% bonus
  • more than €1000 turnover, 6.00% bonus
  • more than €2,500 sales, 12.00% bonus Based on the turnover of the bonus-determining products, you are entitled to 6% bonus (more than €1000 turnover but less than €2500).

The following products are designated as bonus-bearing products:

  • Product A with sales of €100
  • Product D with sales of €1000 Total sales of these bonus-bearing products in €1100.

The bonus paid out is 6% of €1100. This is €66.

A bonus-bearing product is always automatically also a bonus-determining product.

Update Products

You can upload the full list each time. CRS checks whether a product already exists. This is done based on your product number. If a product already exists it is updated, if it does not exist it is added. If there is no column in your file with a tag code, then the assigned tag code will persist.

If you are more comfortable uploading only new products, this is no problem either. Existing products are not removed if they do not exist in the list.
